This week we sit down with Ann Robertson-Tait the President of GeothermEx and talk about her journey with the company and how she has seen Geothermal evolve and adapt through the years. As we enter into the so called Geothermal decade Ann firmly believes that the industry will rise to the challenge of meeting TW worth of clean energy demand, but not without its challenges.
Faced with a decision between water or energy, Ann Robertson-Tait chose to pursue Geothermal which is right at the Nexus of these two. Followed up this choice by heading off to New Zealand in order to learn more about the ins and outs of how Geothermal projects develop and operate. Looking back on her time with GeothermEx, Ann reflects on just how thankful she is for making the choice to pursue Geothermal. Every year she sees hundreds of different resources all around the world and gets to be right in the middle of all the new innovations, developments and advancement of as she says the lost renewable.
